Clinical studies of new therapeutic approaches to stroke and ischemic heart disease are key components of VIL's research. The Reading Center is coordinated by Dongxiang Xu, PhD, and receives medical images and patient data for use in multi-site trials as well as managing clinical patient research. This group also ensures laboratory compliance with all research regulations.
