Neuroimaging & Biotechnology Laboratory

Neuroimaging and Biotechnology Laboratory, Department of Radiology, University of Washington investigates brain disorders (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, dementia) and aging using innovative PET and MR imaging technology and biotechnology.  The Laboratory was initiated in collaboration with Radiology, Bioengineering, and Washington National Primate Center.  The Laboratory's instrumentation includes a dedicated primate PET scanner, near-infrared ICG optical instrument, basic cell processing / chemistry facility, and small animal surgical capability. We have extensive expertise in human and animal imaging analyses and continue to develop NEUROSTAT, 3D-SSP, and other customized software for various biomedical use.
