Neuroimaging Research Laboratory

brain imagineThe Neuroimaging Research Laboratory is located north of the University of Washington main campus.  Utilizing MRI and Spectroscopic imaging, studies are performed at the UW Diagnostic Imaging Sciences Center and Seattle Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center.

The laboratory's primary focus is the development and application of novel imaging techniques to investigate neuropsychiatric disorders.  Longitudinal studies of brain development of children with Autism, as well infants at risk of developing Autism are currently being conducted.  Other focuses include Panic and Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and treatment mechanisms for drug abuse
