The Imaging Sciences Lecture Series in the UW Department of Radiology features ongoing imaging research both in and outside the department. To facilitate translational research opportunities, both basic and clinical investigators present at the same meeting.

Anyone interested in imaging science is welcome to attend this seminar series.

Lectures are held the first Tuesday of every month.

Donna J. Cross, Ph.D.

Donna Cross, Ph.D. 2Imaging of Olfactory Axonal Transport in Aging and Alzheimer's Disease

Dr. Donna J. Cross received the B.S.E. degree in aerospace engineering and the Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiology, University of Washington, Seattle. Her current research interests include using imaging techniques such as positron emission tomography and MRI to investigate a variety of neuroscientific questions from basic neurophysiology to neurodegenerative diseases as well as novel therapies and response to therapy.

 

  

Jean H. Lee, M.D., Ph.D.

Jean H. Lee, M.D. Ph.D.MR Imaging for High-Risk Localized Prostate Cancer: Emphasis on Evaluation Treatment Response

Dr. Jean H. Lee is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Washington. She received an M.D. from the Korea University College of Medicine. She did her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea.  After she completed her residency program, she also earned a Ph.D. from the Korea University College of Medicine. She came to the University of Washington Radiology Department in 2004, where she was a Clinical Fellow in abdominal imaging diagnostic radiology. She completed her training in nuclear medicine at the University of Washington in 2007. She is currently interested in research regarding prostate imaging and also hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and transplant imaging.
