Serena Fabbri, Ph.D., is a Visting Scientist from Italy and a graduate of the University of Pisa, where she studied Applied Physics. Since 2006, Dr. Fabbri has studied PET and SPECT with a YAP-PET small animal scanner. She has evaluated the performance of small animal PET systems, executed experiments to study  the imaging capability of a YAP-(S) PET small animal scanner, and also studied the possibility of performing simultaneous PET and SPECT acquisition. Her work with an experimental procedure to realize PET and SPECT measurements led to an Italian patent.
