Biography:

Dr. Moss received his BA (cum laude) in Chemistry from Allegheny College, Meadville, PA in 1962. He completed his MD (cum laude) in 1967 from the State University of New York, Syracuse, NY and interned at Jefferson Medical, Philadelphia, PA in 1968. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of California, San Francisco CA in 1972.

Dr. Moss came to the University of Washington in 1971 as a Clinical Instructor of Radiology. In 1972 he was promoted to Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology, then to Assistant Professor in 1974, and Associate Professor in 1976. He has been a full Professor of Radiology since 1982. Dr. Moss served as the Chair of Radiology from 1984 to 2002. He now enjoys teaching and mentoring the Department’s residents and fellows.
