Looking For In Residency 

I was looking for a close-knit community, a city with great food and easy access to the outdoors, strong clinical training, access to abundant research opportunities, and quality mentorship! 

UW Strengths

Seattle is a wonderful city with an amazing food scene and unbeatable access to hiking trails and national parks! After my interview, I truly felt that UW was a place where I would be exposed to diverse and complex pathology while also being supported in a wide variety of professional pursuits, from mentored research opportunities to involvement in medical education. 

Advice

Carve out time for your hobbies and think about what your life outside of medicine will look like when assessing different residency programs!
