Employee Recognition Program

Describes the purpose and the goals of the Employee Recognition Program.

A Project of First Line Leadership Team (FLLT)

Purpose:

  • For UW Radiology Staff to be awarded for their contributions to the department for their excellent service and outstanding dedication.
  • This program will strive to honor staff members as valued contributors to the department’s success and to improve morale.
  • Separate Radiology Employee Incentive Program from UW Human Resource’s structure.

 

Goals:

  • Generate interest in and promote recognition activities that encourage employees to recognize their coworkers through formal and informal events.
  • To create a culture of appreciation at work, emphasizing recognition of behaviors that reflect UW Radiology values Accountability, Respect, Innovation, Service and Excellence.
  • The FLLT will be working to develop the program protocols that will consist of the call for nominations, recognition forms, award recipient memos, employee recognition survey’s, rating systems tools, etc.
  • The program recipients will be published on the Radiology website, under the FLLT Tab, as well as at the Quarterly Staff Meetings.  The awards will be presented by the FLLT Subteam.

 

Objective:

Develop and maintain the recognition program to ensure that it is kept current, meaningful and accountable.

 

Employee Recognition Subteam: 

The team will be comprised of FLLT members:  Sally Radford, Maria Bayya, John Nelson and Marie Domsalla.
