Website Upgrade 2008
On Friday, December 5, the Radiology website migrates to a new version of Plone.
The updated site offers a fresh, crisp look, improved performance and usability, and exciting new features!
Join the Web Services team at one of two open house events for a comprehensive tour of the site, information about upcoming training events, and the chance to ask questions, provide feedback, and enjoy a light snack.
In the meantime, below is a sneak-peak at the new site and information about the impact of Friday's migration.
Service Interruption
- The website will be closed to editing and new content on Friday, December 5. It will run read-only while the database is migrated to the new version of Plone.

Improved Performance and New Features
- Faster page loads, especially the front page
- Control over content in left and right columns
- Personal dashboard allows users to create customized views
- Easier creation of "collections" (formerly known as "smart folders")
- Improved sharing tab makes controlling access to documents quicker and easier
- Built-in support for versioning allows saving edited content as a "new version," keeping the old version for future reference or rollback
