Website Maintenance Policy

Every effort is made to preserve uptime for the UW Radiology website.  However, periodic maintenance is required, and occasionally emergencies do happen.  Here's our policy:

Scheduled Maintenance

Routine maintenance of the website, including installation of new packages and upgrades of existing packages will occur only during the window of Friday or Saturday night between 9 pm and midnight, Seattle time.  Users should be prepared for outages during these periods.  Every effort will be made to minimize service disruptions. 

Emergency Maintenance

Emergency Maintenance may be required.  Efforts will be made to notify department personnel of upcoming outages.  If prior notification is not possible, email will be sent to department personnel detailing reasons for the outage as well as the expected timeline for recovery.
