Notify Admin/Request Assistance

The amount of time required to prepare the administrative elements of a grant are often under-estimated by researchers. This, in addition to new limitations implemented by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), make it essential that researchers contact Radiology Grants Administration (RGA) as early as possible in the process. It is not necessary to have the final science written before contacting RGA.

  • 2-4 Months Lead Time
    • For a full range of administrative services, contact RGA 2 to 4 months in advance of the sponsor due date -- more time may be advisable if your proposal is very complex or involves pre-submission regulatory requirements.
  • Minimum 2.5 Weeks Lead Time
    • PIs who are unable to contact us at least two months in advance are asked to provide the complete, final proposal a minimum of 2.5 weeks in advance of the sponsor due date. This will allow adequate time to review the budget, assemble the proposal, prepare the eGC1, and provide copies to all UW Unit reviewers in advance of the required 2-week review period.   Proposals should be complete, accurate, and ready for full review and approval.
