NO! Probably benign, by definition, can only apply to findings that are asymptomatic (i.e. found on a baseline screening mammogram). The fact that a finding is PALPABLE implies that it is NEW. Now, it may have been there before and it is only now detected, but even this scenario implies that it may have grown to become palpable at this time. Any new solid mass is guilty until proven innocent!

Palpable solid masses are BI-RADS 4, Suspicious!
