About UW Emergency Radiology
The UW Emergency Radiology section is located at the Harborview Medical Center and it serves one of the busiest emergency departments in the Pacific Northwest, and is the only Level I adult and pediatric trauma center and regional burn center serving Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. As a center of excellence in providing emergency radiology services, the section has very active roles in continuing medical education, resident and fellowship training, research, and clinical practice.
The ER radiology section provides a 24/7 online reporting service for emergency and trauma imaging.

The Emergency Radiology section is staffed by both dedicated full-time and part-time emergency radiologists.
Outside CT Standards
If a patient is transferred to Harborview, and has had an outside CT sent with them that is performed according to these minimum standards, usually we will avoid rescanning the patient.
