EMERGENCY RADIOLOGY
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER


The Department of Radiology at the University of Washington is seeking one or more positions at the level of assistant, associate, or full professor to join the emergency radiology section at Harborview Medical Center. This recruitment is open until filled.

The successful candidate will have responsibility in emergency radiology, but the appointment could be shared with the sections of body imaging, or musculoskeletal radiology. The radiologist will be based at Harborview Medical Center, the only Level 1 Trauma Center for the State of Washington, Montana, Alaska and Western Idaho.

Clinical responsibilities can be tailored to the individual, but will include cross-sectional imaging and plain radiography. Responsibilities will also include teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Candidates for this position must hold a M.D. degree and be board certified (or equivalent) in radiology and should have fellowship training in emergency radiology, body imaging, or musculoskeletal radiology. Candidates must also have a strong desire for a career in academic radiology.
