Body Imaging of Cancer Fellowship
Program Information
New funding has opened a fellowship position in Body Imaging of Cancer at the University of Washington Department of Radiology in Seattle, WA.
The new fellow's time will be divided between University of Washington Medical Center, a 450-bed Top Ten academic hospital, and an extremely high quality private practice hospital setting through the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the Swedish Cancer Institute.
- All facilities have state of the art GE PET/CT and a very comprehensive full spectrum oncology service.
- Other available modalities include 3 64-slice GE CT scanners, 3 new Philips MR with one 3T performing spectroscopic and functional imaging, and a full metabolic imaging and research program.
- We offer the Body Imaging of Cancer Fellow elective time in cardiac CT/MR, high risk OB ultrasound, or broad spectrum abdominal imaging.
- Both clinical and basic science research opportunities are available
- Because this program is not ACGME certified, it is flexible and configurable.

- The candidate must be able to obtain a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington State.
