Fellowships in the Body Imaging Section


Welcome to the University of Washington Body Imaging Section! Several fellowships are available, including Body Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, and Oncologic Imaging. We are currently accepting applications for 2010-2011.

The Body Imaging Fellowship focuses on cross-sectional imaging and intervention in the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Fellow education focuses on interpretation of CT, MRI, and US, as well as US and CT guided biopsies and other procedures. Additional experience in PET-CT as well as other departmental electives are available. There are 8 ACGME accredited positions. 

The Cardiac Imaging Fellowship is predominantly an MRI service, with additional cardiac CT experience. You will be able to learn from nationally recognized cardiac MRI experts on the most up to date Philips MRI equipment. There are two non-ACGME accredited positions.

The Body Imaging of Cancer Fellowship provides extensive experience at the large academic environment of University of Washington Medical Center, with additional focused training at Swedish Cancer Institute and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance with increased exposure to PET-CT imaging. There are two non-ACGME-accredited positions.
